Why is our name BioTex Foam?
Initially our foam insulation was made with a small percent of soybeans. Soy-based foam insulation had a premium price, so we offered a Low-cost but Highly Effective Polyurethane Insulation. Polyurethane Insulation is now our most popular product. We no longer stock our warehouse with soy-based insulation.
Jared Amon (owner of BioTex Foam) has worked side-by-side at BioTex Foam with his father, Dan Amon (a custom home builder). Jared has learned from his father how to work effectively with other contractors on a project and in those situations where expertise of a home builder with 40 years experience is invaluable. “On a construction site, you are either part of the solution or part of the problem.
